He began his career as a news photojournalist and picture editor, working for national newspapers in London. After covering everything from The BAFTAs to US elections, Sam focused on securing major exclusives which set the agenda around the world.

Having succeeded in print journalism, Sam moved his focus to digital content and television production. He has become a leading executive producer in television, and has founded and overseen Barcroft TV for many years.
