As Manager, Original Programming & Development, Oxygen Media, Monica Valdes is responsible for expanding the networks growing slate of true crime programming. She is a member of both the current and development teams lead by Rod Aissa (EVP, Programming & Development) and Cori Abraham (SVP, Development & International). Valdes joined the Oxygen team in April 2015 and is the executive behind the successful, two part special, Dahmer On Dahmer: A Serial Killer Speaks, as well as several other new series coming in 2018.
Prior to Oxygen, Valdes served as Entertainment Associate at Syfy where she oversaw long-running franchises Face-Off and Paranormal Witness.
