Kristin Wendell brings a decade of development and production experience to her role steering all of part2’s development slate and ventures. Kristin started her TV career in syndicated talk shows. She worked on multiple pilots and was on the team that launched The Tony Danza Show and The Tyra Banks Show in New York. After an amazingly fun stint at The Colbert Report, Kristin decided to shift from the talk and variety space to the creative side, pursuing her passion for great storytelling and reality programing. Kristin jumped into the reality world head first, working in the field for ABC's Wife Swap, specials for Ani- mal Planet, and pilots for A&E. Concurrently, she worked in casting, always keeping her eye out for dy-namic and compelling characters. In her first development role at truTV, Kristin oversaw casting and tal- ent for the network. Among her many achievements at truTV, she developed Swamp Hunters, Safe Crack- ers, and Cash Dome. In addition, she helped on some of the hit shows for the network, including Guin- ness World Records Unleashed and Killer Karaoke. While at The Discovery Channel, Kristin re-cast Dual Survival and oversaw casting and research for the network's internal development. Most recently she worked as Director of Development for National Geographic Channel where she developed multiple shows including the six-part series Original Sin: Sex, event special Brain Surgery Live and The Boonies.
