Mike Duffy is the co-founder of Ugly Brother Studios. In collaboration with his twin brother Tim, Ugly Brother creates and produces unscripted formats, comedy formats and documentary series including Startup U on Freeform, Life or Debt on Spike, The Goddamn Comedy Jam on Comedy Central and several soon-to-be announced series. Duffy is overseeing projects across a variety of networks including Comedy Central, History, Amazon, among many others.

Prior to forming Ugly Brother, Duffy was Managing Director of Branded Content for Ben Silverman at Electus where he was responsible for developing family-friendly content for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including NBC’s A Michael Bublé Christmas, which went on to become an annual NBC Special, Bet on Your Baby for ABC and Southern Justice for Nat Geo. He also served as served as Executive Vice President at T Group Productions where he managed both development and current on series such as Invention USA (History), Mystery Diners (Food Network), Storage Hunters, Swamp Hunters and Container Wars (truTV). Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President/Head of Development at Zodiak USA where he developed, created and sold shows such as truTV’s #1 rated hit Hardcore Pawn.

A graduate of the Penn State School of Journalism, where he co-founded Penn State’s first digital newspaper, Duffy moved to Los Angeles as a stand-up comedian and stage actor. He lives in Culver City with his wife and two daughters.
