Maitee Cueva joined OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network in 2010 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Programming and Development. She previously served as both Vice President and Executive Director of Programming and Development. In her role at OWN, Cueva is responsible for programming and development for the network’s popular Saturday night programming as well as other content development initiatives. She currently oversees OWN’s newest series “Livin’ Lozada,” featuring Evelyn Lozada (“Basketball Wives”) and the long-running hit “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s.”
Prior to joining OWN, Cueva held several positions at MTV Networks, ultimately serving as Director, Programming and Development, working on such popular series as “Parental Control” and Randy Jackson’s “America’s Best Dance Crew.”
Cueva received her B.A. in Communications Broadcasting: Television, Film, Radio from Millersville University. She is first generation American. Her mother is from Sagua La Grande, Cuba and her father is from Burgos, Spain. She resides in Los Angeles, CA.
