Johnny Gould is Chief Creative Officer at Pilgrim Media Group, heading up the production company’s original programming and development, along with international format sales and acquisitions.
Gould has been instrumental in developing an array of long-running hit series, including Discovery’s Fast N’ Loud and Street Outlaws, Lifetime’s Bring It!, OWN’s Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s, National Geographic Channel’s Wicked Tuna and Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks, TLC’s My Big Fat Fabulous Life, FYI’s new hit series Zombie House Hunters, and Destination America’s Ghost Brothers. Coming up for Pilgrim is The Runner for Verizon’s Go90 platform (along with executive producers Ben Affleck and Matt Damon) and the recently announced Discovery series The Wheel, among many others. Gould also served as executive producer on the award-winning docuseries Lindsay and Michael Sam, both of which aired on OWN. With Pilgrim Media Group since 2003, Gould served most recently as executive vice president, development and original programming.
In April 2012, he was named one of Multichannel News’ “40 Under 40,” which highlights key television executives integral to their companies’ growth and success.
