Russ McCarroll is a Senior Vice President of Programming and Development for HISTORY. He developed many of HISTORY’s biggest recent successes, including Sons of Liberty, The World Wars, Mountain Men, and The Men Who Built America. He is currently developing the upcoming scripted series Knightfall for HISTORY. Russ has overseen some of the network’s most successful series including Pawn Stars, Ax Men and Top Gear. He received Emmy nominations for HISTORY’s critically acclaimed The World Wars in 2014, The Men Who Built America in 2013 and the special Rise and Fall of the Third Reich in 2010. His work was recognized in 2000 and 2006 with Emmy Awards. In 2005, he was honored with an Edward R. Murrow award for writing.
