Betsy Slenzak was named Vice President of Unscripted Programming for The CW Network in March 2023. In this role, Slenzak develops and runs current production on alternative reality series, events and specials for the network.

Slenzak most recently served as Vice President of Entertainment Unscripted Content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, where she oversaw reality competition, talent competition and game show formats across the company’s entertainment portfolio including NBC, Peacock, Bravo, E! and USA Network. Her purview included managing a robust development slate consisting of “Love Island” and “The Traitors,” and hit series such as “American Ninja Warrior,” “Frogger” and“The Courtship.”

Prior to joining the NBCUniversal formats team, Slenzak worked at Peacock where she oversaw series including “John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise” and “The Amber Ruffin Show.” She also spent seven years at E! Entertainment where she oversaw original series including “Botched,” “Chelsea Lately” and “Fashion Police.”

Slenzak began her career at “Access Hollywood,” USA Network, and was coordinator to Bonnie Hammer, Vice Chairman, NBCUniversal.
