Paul Hatcher is the founder and CEO of Merrill Herzog with 23 years of risk experience in the private and government sectors and 3.5 years with an acute focus on entertainment, production risk, and background screening. Throughout his career, he spent 9 years operationally in the Middle East and Africa and two years in Latin America. During this time, he
has worked on high-profile kidnappings, advised on policy, managed large-scale evacuations & extractions, and written security and risk contingency plans globally.

Upon entering the entertainment space in 2019, Paul and Merrill Herzog quickly became recognized as risk and crisis experts and have consulted for networks, streamers, and production companies during some of their most challenging situations (stalkers, death threats, and evacuations).
