Valerie Idehen currently serves as Vice President of Unscripted, for Hot Snakes Media, where she oversees all shows currently in production for the expanding bicoastal production company.  Idehen most recently served as Director of Development for Propagate Content. As an accomplished Executive Producer, multi-camera director, development executive and content creator, Valerie’s extensive and versatile background has fueled strong industry relationships as she has delivered shows to a wide range of networks and platforms including but not limited to Lifetime, VH1, WEtv, E!, TLC, Oxygen, SoulPancake, YouTube and So Yummy. She received her start in the business as a department assistant at Comedy Central in Advertising and Marketing before transitioning into Production Development at MTV.

When not show-running a tv production, Valerie is an in-demand artist strategist, marketer, branding consultant and educator. Aside from television and entertainment, Valerie has a passion for fashion, music, comedy, travel, entrepreneurship and sport fishing. She is a 2004 graduate of Yale University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies with a concentration in History & Literature. Val is currently a Master of Legal Studies Candidate at UCLA Law with a focus on Entertainment Law.
