President, Alternative Programming & Development
Jayson Dinsmore serves as President, Alternative Programming and Development for Fremantle in North America where he leads domestic and global development strategy for the unscripted genre, both by mining the company’s catalogue of titles and creating new formats.
Fremantle’s current portfolio of unscripted content includes America’s Got Talent (NBC), Family Feud (Syndicated), The Price Is Right (CBS), Match Game (ABC) and American Idol (ABC), among others. Most recently, Dinsmore and his team oversaw the successful reboot of Double Dare for Nickelodeon.
Dinsmore came to Fremantle after nearly seven years at CMT, where as EVP of Production and Development, he brought fan favorite Nashville to the network and developed and launched scripted hits such as Sun Records and popular unscripted projects like Broken Skull Challenge, Party Down South and I Love Kellie Pickler. He previously spent over a decade at NBC where he oversaw a variety of shows including Fear Factor,Deal or No Deal,Last Comic Standing,The Sing-Off and Minute To Win It.
Dinsmore has received numerous industry accolades including being named in Variety’s 2015 Music City Impact Report for his contributions to country music and lifestyle, as well as being named as “one to watch” in The Hollywood Reporter’s 2012 Reality TV: THR’s 50 Most Powerful List. In addition, he was included inThe Hollywood Reporter’sNext Gen 2007 list.
A native of Texas, Dinsmore graduated from Howard Payne University.
