Loren Ruch is the Vice President of Programming, Partnerships and Special Events for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country, where he oversees many of the networks’ high-profile specials and series including Property Brothers, Brother vs Brother, My Lottery Dream Home, Restored, White House Christmas and all of the sweepstakes-related home giveaway shows. He also oversees a full development slate with more than fifteen active projects. Ruch is the programming liaison with Hearst Publications for HGTV Magazine and the point person for ad sales partnerships and cross-network specials.
Prior to his position at Scripps Networks Interactive, Ruch spent ten years at Fox’s Good Day LA and the nationally-syndicated Good Day Live, where he was the recipient of five Emmy awards for his work. He started his career in daytime talk and game shows including: Home & Family, Love Connection and Family Feud.
Ruch is a passionate supporter of many charitable organizations including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation’s leading industry-based HIV/AIDS fundraising organization. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and theater arts.
