Wendy Miller is Vice President of Development and Current Programming for Playboy TV.  She was brought on to develop and oversee a new programming strategy for Playboy TV consisting of high-quality shows aimed at attracting couples and female viewers.  In her role, Wendy works closely with producers, production companies, agencies and talent to develop Playboy TV programming for all genres including reality, documentary, comedy, scripted drama and competition series which she supervises from pitch through post.  

 

Before joining Playboy TV, Wendy was a network branding and programming consultant instrumental in Lifetime's relaunch of Project Runway, The Beijing Olympic Games, Vancouver Olympic Games and a creative driving force behind NBC's multi-million, co-branded campaign with American Honda Motor Company.  Wendy wrote custom content integrating NBC Universal series with such advertising partners as General Mills, Macy's, McDonalds, American Express, Walmart, Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Company, Universal Theme Parks and General Motors.  

 

Early in her career, Wendy was Director of Special Projects at NBC where she launched numerous hit shows and wrote many jingles which may still be stuck in your head. She was a key member of the original launch team for The Oxygen Network, executive producing three series for Oxygen while creatively directing the launch of the network. Additional TV credits include Best Week Ever, The Wayne Brady Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and a critically-acclaimed three-part series, Inside TV Land: History of African Americans in Television. Wendy also executive produced, wrote and directed Be Jane, a ten part home improvement series for MSN Originals.

 

Wendy has won an Emmy Award, Gracie Allen Award, International Broadcasters Award, Multiple Promax Gold and Silver Awards, is a winner of the Lite Beer/Catch A Rising Star National Comedy Search and received both a TV Guide "Cheer" and a TV Guide "Jeer."
