Sandra Smester is vice president of Programming and Programming Operations for Univision Networks at Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. Ms. Smester is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day scheduling and strategic positioning of all on-air content for Univision. Her duties also include programming administration and various other key programming specials such the network’s New Year’s Eve Special, El Grito de Mexico and much more.

Ms. Smester first joined Univision Network in 1996 and quickly assumed several positions of greater responsibilities within the programming and promotions department. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida International University.
