Howard Lee is the Executive Vice President, Production & Development for TLC. A Discovery veteran, he joined TLC in 2008.

He co-developed, created and serves as TLC’s Executive Producer for the pop cultural comedy phenomenonHere Comes Honey Boo Boo. He helped strengthen TLC’s continued success as the #1 destination for buzz and reality docudrama hits in 2012 with Breaking Amish and Long Island Medium while also continuing the success on Cake Boss, Sister Wives,and Extreme Couponing. Howard Lee also served as TLC’sexecutive producer and launched the popular Toddlers & Tiaras and The Little Couple.

Over the past year, Howard has overseen 550 hours of original series and programming with his production teams based in both Los Angeles and Discovery headquarters in Silver Spring MD with ongoing audience favorites such as the Say Yes to the Dress Franchises, My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, Next Great Baker, My Strange Addiction,19 Kids and Counting, Hoarding: Buried Alive, and Four Weddings.

Previously, Lee served as Vice President of Development and Production for the 2007 launch of Planet Green originating 200 hours of new programming including Emeril Green with Emeril Lagasse. Prior to Planet Green, Lee was the Vice President of Development for the Travel Channel.

Lee received his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts for Film and Television.
