David W. Padrusch is responsible for augmenting Travel Channel’s development slate and overseeing the creative process including all phases of pre-production, production, post-production and final delivery of those series. Having creative oversight over a variety of production projects, Padrusch manages multiple external production companies and leads all initiatives that execute on the strategic programming vision.
Prior to Travel Channel, Padrusch served as vice president of development and executive producer of Towers Productions. In this role, he developed Tug of War, a primetime docu-series for History Channel and Fields of Valor: Civil War, a four-part 3D Civil War special for 3Net. In 2004, Padrusch founded Limulus Productions and created a signature, adrenaline-charged graphic novel aesthetic seen in Last Stand of the 300, Battles BC, and Art of War.
Padrusch began his career producing and directing the Discover Magazine Series for Discovery Channel. Soon after, he produced and directed a 10-part series, Body Invaders for Discovery Health, and a two-hour special Rumrunners, Moonshiners & Bootleggers for History Channel.
Padrusch holds a Bachelor of Arts in theater and dance from Franklin & Marshall College.
