Winona Meringolo is the Senior Director of Development for Investigation Discovery and Military Channel where she is responsible for conceptualizing original series and specials, as well as acquiring completed specials and films. She developed the creative direction forWho the Bleep Did I Marry, Blood RelativesandDates From Hell; as well as Military Channel'sCommander in Chief.

Prior to joining ID and Military Channel, she was the Manager of Development for TLC where she was the lead development executive on over thirty series, specials and development deals, some of which were:Extreme Couponing,Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta, and the successful spin-offSay Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids. Preceding her stint at TLC, Meringolo was the Head of Development for Discovery Digital Media, where she oversaw the augmentation of Discovery Communications audience on digital platforms by developing an array of original short form series.

Meringolo first joined Discovery in 2005 as part of the Discovery Health Channel development team, prior to that she worked in development on the feature film side of the business in Los Angeles, CA.
