Andrew Jeffrey joined the Realscreen team as news editor in April, earlier this year. Prior to his reporting in the non-fiction film and TV industry, Jeffrey most recently worked as a reporter and associate producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) office in Edmonton, and as a reporter for the StarMetro Calgary, a major daily newspaper that was owned by Torstar, a Canadian publishing company.
His reporting has covered stories about film and TV, Canadian politics and elections, education, health care, and sports. His work has appeared in a variety of Canadian outlets including daily newspapers like the Edmonton Journal, lifestyle magazines like Avenue Calgary and public broadcasters like TVO.
