Carlos Márquez-Sterling currently serves as Senior Creative Director of Production & Development for Non-scripted Programming & Specials at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. He has over 25 years of award-winning experience in Production, OA Promotions, Marketing and Content Development in the realms of TV and Digital.
Prior to NBCUniversal-Telemundo, Márquez-Sterling served as VP of Development and Production at Zodiak Latino, part of Zodiak Media, where he developed unscripted series in addition to adapting Zodiak formats for the US Hispanic and Latin American markets. The Zodiak slate included Mexico's Next Top Model, Deal with It (Vas con Todo), Rude Tube (Zona Ruda) and Desafio Fashionista.
Marquez-Sterling was previously General Manager of MundoMax affilate WGEN as well as of Azteca America, and also held a role where he was in charge of content development for Caracol America Productions. Additionally, he has been a creative consultant for Caracol Television, LatinWorld Entertainment, MGM Latin America, Casa Club TV, Imagina US, Todobebé, Inc., Mun2 and Galavisión Network. Carlos’ experience in news and entertainment includes diverse roles as creator and producer of television shows such as “Lente Loco,” “Alta Tensión,” “La Cruzada del Siglo XX,” “Esta Noche con Usted,” “The Roof,” and “Un Día en la Vida de España.”
