Todd Weiser is Senior Vice President of Programming and Development for Food Network and Cooking Channel, charged with developing new series and specials for both networks as well as overseeing current programming. Weiser joined Food Network in 2013 as Vice President, Programming and Development where he launched multiple hit franchise offerings, such as Holiday Baking Championship, Halloween Baking Championship, Christmas Cookie Challenge and, most recently, the relaunch of Restaurant: Impossible. Prior to his tenure with Food Network, Todd was the Director of Program Development at Animal Planet, where he was tasked with growing Animal Planet's audience and developing such top-rated series as Finding Bigfoot, Gator Boys and Too Cute!  Todd has proven to be adept at creating programming targeted to male, female and dual audiences. Prior to his TV development experience, Weiser worked at Picturehouse/Newmarket Films from 2004-2007. Todd graduated from the University of Michigan with University Honors, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Film & Video Studies and Economics.
