As Senior Vice President, Content, Karen Miller creates and executes strategy while leading development, co-productions, current production and acquisitions across all Universal Kids content. She crafts a vision for Universal Kids with the goal of growing audiences and building franchises that support brand and business objectives- including shows such as American Ninja Warrior Junior and Top Chef Junior, as well as for DreamWorks Animation. Miller works with the Universal Kids leadership team to drive overall network strategy while managing a slate of both live action and animation projects, and works closely with producers and international broadcasters to identify new ideas, projects and potential co-productions while attracting top tier talent - including showrunners and creators - to Universal Kids.
Most recently, Miller was Vice President, Worldwide Programming Strategy, Acquisitions and Co-Productions, Disney Channels Worldwide, where she directed the development of overall scheduling strategies to ensure all programming plans were consistent with global priorities while overseeing the global acquisitions process. She spent the previous 18 years at Warner Bros. as a producer, last serving as Vice President of Property Acquisitions for Consumer Products.
