Elliot is responsible for the content and marketing strategy for RLTV’s digital video channels launching 2019 and is the GM of Swellness Channel.
In addition Elliot continues to oversee the programming development, production and acquisition, marketing and digital teams for RLTV’s linear channel. As a founding executive since 2006, Elliot has been instrumental in the growth and sale of RLTV’s prior distribution and the launch of RLTV’s AVOD and SVOD channels.
Previously, Elliot held positions as President Production Mallorca Entertainment, Executive Director Laureate Media, Production Executive HapDong Films, and at freelance.
An award-winning producer and director, Jacobson has produced both factual and scripted shows, commercials, and feature films. For RLTV he has overseen 1,800 hours of programming, including 42 series and 39 documentaries/specials.
Elliot’s credits include: Cronkite: America’s Newsman, Coyote, A Walk in the Park, Second Act,The Florence Henderson Show, To Not Fade Away, Taking Care with Joan Lunden, Another Chance For Romance, Daily Café, Healthcare: Search for Solutions, Prime Votes with Cokie Roberts and Sam Donaldson, and Money Matters with Jean Chatzky.
Jacobson’s work has garnered multiple Emmy, Gracie, Cine Golden Eagle, New York Festivals and CableFax awards and Best Feature Film at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. Elliot serves on the boards of the National Foundation to End Senior Hunger. Elliot is an active member of the PGA and ATAS. He graduated from USC Cinematic Arts and is originally from Spain, he currently splits his time between the Quiet Car of the Acela and seat 8A on United.
