Rob Smith serves as Executive Vice President/Head of Unscripted, Endemol Shine North America, since March 2015. 

Smith recently oversaw the production of Endemol Shine’s series Hunted for CBS and he’s leading the company’s efforts with Ryan Seacrest Productions on upcoming series Best.Cover.Ever for YouTube, a revamped Fear Factor for MTV and Superhuman at FOX. 

Previously Smith spent more than a decade building Endemol USA into one of the most successful producers of reality television in the country, overseeing some of the most popular shows in reality television history. Smith oversaw Endemol USA’s robust development and production slate, current programming and the studio’s broad portfolio of hit shows, including daytime syndicated series Steve Harvey and Wipeout (ABC). Smith was also was responsible for successes such as the hit game show Deal or No Deal, which aired over 200 episodes on NBC and the two-time Emmy award-winning series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on ABC. Smith originally joined Endemol USA in 2002 as Director, Development. Prior to joining Endemol USA in 2002, he worked for Telepictures, serving as a supervising producer for the syndicated news magazine EXTRA.
