With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Michael Dugan serves as VP of Original Content for Fuse Media, a multiplatform media brand reflecting the wide-ranging tastes and attitudes of the fast-growing, Latino and multicultural 18-34 audience. Dugan is responsible for overseeing all linear programing and development for Fuse and FM, including award-winning series Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce, which was renewed for its sixth season. He was instrumental in establishing a partnership between Fuse and Dwayne Johnson to bring to air freshman series Clash of the Corps.
Michael began his career at MTV, where he co-created the iconic game show Remote Control. He wrote on Beavis and Butthead and was head writer for The Jon Stewart Show,The Tom Green Show and TheMTV Movie Awards, among others. As network executive, Dugan developed shows for MTV, MTV Films, and HA!/ Comedy Central. As producer, he developed and produced shows for Fox, USA, AMC, MTV, Comedy Central, Bravo, Spike, and Fox Sports Net. Dugan landed at Fuse seven years ago, where he brought to air Billy on the Street starring Emmy-nominated Billy Eichner.
