John Feld is the Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Production for Scripps Networks Interactive lifestyle brands HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country. In this role, he is responsible for developing and supervising specials, series and tent-pole events for the networks.

Feld came to Scripps Networks in 2012 from CMT, where he served as the Director of Programming and Production for more than five years. Prior to that, he was the Director of Field Production for Martha Stewart Living, as well as the Executive Producer of political programming for the 2000 New Hampshire Primary for PBS. He began his career as a producer for the CBS daytime serial Guiding Light before becoming the Senior Producer at Grinker & Companyin NYC where he oversaw the production of non-fiction projects for A&E, Disney Channel and others.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and sciences from DePauw University.
