IPC launched in January 2016 and soon thereafter went into production on its inaugural series, A&E’s Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. Saidman executive produced the show, which was the highest rated cable premiere of 2016. As President of the company, Saidman oversees IPC’s diverse slate of series, pilots and projects in the works across broadcast, cable and the major streaming services. The Hollywood Reporter recently listed Saidman and his partner, Eli Holzman, among Reality Television’s “top 10 power players of 2017."
Prior to launching IPC, Saidman was the Executive Vice President, Development & Current Programming, for the television production company All3Media America. In that capacity, he was the head of creative for the company, overseeing all pilots and series for broadcast networks and cable, including Bravo’s The People’s Couch, NBC’s The Million Second Quiz, and CNN’s documentary series Declassified, which he created. Additionally, Saidman produced the critically acclaimed feature documentary film The Seven Five, which was released by IFC Films and whose remake rights were sold in a bidding war to Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Prior to his position at All3Media, Saidman was the head of development and current programming for Studio Lambert USA, where he helped grow the company into a major producer of unscripted content, overseeing such shows as CBS’ Undercover Boss and AMC’s The Pitch.
Before his tenure as a creative executive, Saidman was a freelance producer, getting his start in television with Mark Burnett Productions. Saidman began his career in motion pictures, where he worked for Miramax and Dimension Films, and was later a Creative Consultant for Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope.
