Simon Andreae is the founder and CEO of Naked Entertainment, set up in 2015 to produce non-fiction formats for television and other platforms. Its first slate of series includes 100% Hotter for 5Star, Celebrity 100% Hotter for Channel 5, The Week We Went Wild for Channel 5, Threesome Dating for All4, and Britain’s Best Boy Boy Racer for All4.
Prior to Naked, he was Executive Vice President of Alternative Entertainment at Fox, in charge of all new non-fiction programming as well as reality staples including Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, and So You Think You Can Dance, and specials including The Teen Choice Awards and Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution
Between 2010 and 2013, he was Senior Vice president at Discovery Channel, where he created hit survival show Naked and Afraid and developed a number of successful series including Fast N Loud and The Devil’s Ride. He also supervised some of the network’s most notable specials, including Plane Crash, Mummifying Alan, and Did God Create the Universe?
Between 2002 and 2005, he was Head of Science and Education at Channel Four, commissioning a wide range of high profile and award-winning specialist factual content including The Autopsy, Anatomy for Beginners, BodyShock, and Life Before Birth.
As a producer (and founding partner of Optomen Television in the UK and The Incubator in the US), he has also created and supervised numerous non-fiction specials and series, and most recently served as an executive producer on National Geographic’s Emmy-nominated global documentary series The Story of God with Morgan Freeman.
