An Emmy and Murrow Award winning producer, Anna Robertson, Vice President and Head of Video at Yahoo, oversees all development, production and programming of Yahoo’s video content, which includes Yahoo Studios, Yahoo Originals and Yahoo Screen.
Robertson’s team is responsible for more than 45 short-form original video series for Yahoo’s Digital Magazines, which includes content for Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric and other top editorial staff, including Joe Zee (Yahoo Style), Bobbi Brown (Yahoo Beauty), David Pogue (Yahoo Tech), among others. Her team produces and programs video content for Yahoo Live, which includes thousands of live broadcasts each year across news, finance and entertainment, and the upcoming global EDM competition series,Ultimate DJ. The team is also behind Yahoo’s original scripted programming, including the sixth season ofCommunity, Sin City Saints,Other Space,and recently announced series,The Pursuit.
In her prior role as Head of Yahoo Studios at Yahoo, Robertson oversaw the development and production of many of the most popular original video series online across news, finance, sports, entertainment and lifestyle. Under Robertson’s tenure, Yahoo Studios has won several accolades, including three Edward R. Murrow Awards.
Prior to joining Yahoo, Robertson spent a decade at ABC News where she became an Emmy-Award winning Senior Producer forGood Morning America.As Diane Sawyer’s producer, she covered major stories around the world including 9/11, the Iraq War, the Tsunami in Asia, Hurricane Katrina and more. Anna is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she started a groundbreaking and award-winning online news magazine,The Angle,in coordination withThe Washington Post. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.
