Eden Gaha was named President, Unscripted Television, Endemol Shine USA, in March 2015. Gaha, who was previously President, Unscripted Television, Shine America, reports to Endemol Shine North America Co-CEOS and Co-Chairmen Cris Abrego and Charlie Corwin.
Gaha, a veteran TV producer and executive, originally joined Shine America in May 2011. In his previous role at Shine America, Gaha was responsible for oversight of all the company's unscripted and creative development initiatives.
During his four years with Shine America, he worked to revamp the company’s unscripted development team and overhaul its current roster of network and cable series. Gaha continues to serve as an executive producer on many of the company’s top unscripted series including MasterChef (FOX), MasterChef Junior (FOX), The Biggest Loser (NBC), Restaurant Startup (CNBC), and Fake-Off (TruTv).
Gaha was recently named one of the most influential unscripted executives in Variety’s Reality Impact special report and was ranked #5 in The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 25 Reality Player’s list in 2014.
Gaha joined Shine America from Mark Burnett Productions, where he served as the showrunner/executive producer on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice for five seasons. His additional credits while with Burnett include co-executive producer for The Contender, Pirate Master and Rock Star.
Gaha also served as a supervising producer on the long-running CBS series Survivor for two seasons and was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards.
Prior to moving to the United States, Gaha had a successful on-air television career in his native Australia for more than a decade. In Australia, Gaha served as the host of 10 Network’s musical program Take 40, Nine Network’s Animal Hospital and Fox Eight's The Ties That Bind. He also was a reporter/producer for the Australian version of newsmagazine A Current Affair.
