Scott Gurney is the co-founder and executive producer of Gurney Productions, which he established in 2005 with Deirdre Gurney. Together they have grown the company to become a leading full-service producer of large-scale returning series for U.S. Networks. Scott's skills as producer, director and editor has helped build the strong content output that Gurney Productions is known for.

Along with Deirdre, Scott created and is executive producer of A&E's mega hit series 'Duck Dynasty'. The company has developed and produced multiple shows and successful series across all genres for networks including A&E, Discovery, Syfy, Spike, Animal Planet, Nat Geo, TLC, Weather Channel and El Rey. In addition to originating the docu-comedy genre with 'Duck Dynasty', Gurney Productions is behind hit shows such as 'Auction Hunters', ‘ Leah Remini: It’s All Relative’ and ‘Fat n Furious’, as well as specials and the ever-popular Shark Week on Discovery Channel with natural history programming such as, ‘Sharkageddon’ and 'Monster Hammerhead’.
