Brent Montgomery is founder and CEO of media, entertainment and production company Leftfield Entertainment. Established by Montgomery in 2013, The Leftfield Entertainment portfolio currently encompasses Leftfield Pictures (Pawn Stars), Sirens Media (Real Housewives of New Jersey), Loud TV (Tiny House Nation), Outpost Entertainment (PBS’ Icons) and most recently Riot Creative. In May 2014, ITV Studios acquired Leftfield Entertainment.
Montgomery’s flagship Leftfield Pictures is best known for producing the breakout hit – now franchise – Pawn Stars, which delivered record ratings for History when it premiered in 2009, and spawned the “hidden treasures” genre of programming. The show continues to dominate its time period and has birthed spinoffs including hit game show Pawnography, series Counting Cars and American Restoration, as well as international formats in the UK, Australia and South Africa, with more territories pending. Other Leftfield Pictures series include Blood, Sweat and Heels for Bravo,Lachey’s Bar for A&E, Alone for History, Cutting It for WEtv and New Money for E!.
As CEO of Leftfield Entertainment, Montgomery continues to expand his company’s footprint in all content and production arenas, through new partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions and producer deals. He is a founding member of the Non-Fiction Producers Association (NPA) and a member of its board of directors.
