In her role of Vice President, Development – West Coast, Elvia Van Es Oliva leads her team in creating original concepts for the network, as well as working with the external creative community to add to TLC’s slate of programming. Some of the programming that Elvia has developed include the upcoming new series Labor Games and Quinceañera. Prior to TLC, Van Es Oliva served as Senior Vice President of Development for Fly On The Wall Entertainment, where she was responsible for creating, developing, pitching and selling numerous docu-series, formats and social experiments with networks including Food Network, Sundance, E!, Oxygen, History and TLC.  Previously, Van Es Oliva was Vice President of Programming and Development at High Noon Entertainment, working on programming including TruTV's Guinness World Records Gone Wild and Discovery's Dude, You're Screwed! Throughout her career, Van Es Oliva has worked as a show runner, director, writer and producer for numerous specials and series for CBS, ABC, NBC, MTV, Animal Planet and others.
