Kathleen Finch was named president of Scripps Networks Interactive cable networks HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country in 2013. As president, Finch oversees the three cable networks as well as related ancillary businesses such asHGTV Magazine, a joint venture with Hearst Publishing. Prior to being named president, Finch was SVP/GM of HGTV and DIY Networks, and under her leadership, the two networks achieved record breaking ratings and revenue.
Before overseeing HGTV, DIY and Great American Country, Finch spent seven years at Scripps Networks' Food Network as SVP of primetime programming. At Food Network, Finch created numerous long-running hits and developed many top network stars. Finch’s programming influence has been evident across all six Scripps Networks, each one having aired series she created.
Prior to joining Scripps Networks, Finch was a journalist and spent 12 years at CBS Network News. She is a graduate of Stanford University.
