Russ McCarroll is a Vice President of Programming and Development for HISTORY.  He developed many of HISTORY’s biggest recent successes, includingSons of Liberty, The World Wars, Mountain Men,andThe Men Who Built America. He is currently developing the scripted seriesKnightfallfor HISTORY.  Russ has overseen some of the network’s most successful series includingPawn Stars, Ax Men,and Top Gear.He received Emmy nominations for HISTORY’s critically acclaimedThe World Warsin 2014,The Men Who Built Americain 2013 and the specialRise and Fall of the Third Reichin 2010. His work was recognized in 2000 and 2006 with Emmy Awards. In 2005, he was honored with an Edward R. Murrow award for writing.
