An entrepreneur who has been at the forefront of unscripted television programming, Gary R. Benz established GRB Entertainment as a world-class television producer and international distributor, which now reaches more than 160 territories around the globe. Mr. Benz has created and produced more than 3,000 hours of broadcast, cable and syndicated programming, including live events, specials and numerous critically-acclaimed and award-winning series.

As Executive Producer, Mr. Benz has overseen such successful programs as A&E’s Intervention (205 episodes), the 2009 Emmy^® Award winner for Outstanding Reality Program. Mr. Benz’s other credits include Sex Sent Me to the ER (TLC), Pregnant & Dating (WE), Next Action Star (NBC), Princes of Malibu (Fox), Aftermath with William Shatner (Bio), and Growing Up Gotti(A&E). 

In 2015, GRB announced its first film, Bad Night, featuring YouTube stars Lauren Elizabeth Luthringshausen (LoveLaurenElizabeth) and Jenn McAllister (JennXPenn). “We’re excited to be providing our first feature in the digital space, which will reach an audience of young viewers where they live,” said Mr. Benz. “It’s a terrific project that has marketing already built in it – it’s a formula that we hope can repeat with a multitude of incredible YouTube personalities.”

Mr. Benz is a member of the Directors Guild of America, the Writers Guild of America, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Caucus for Television Producers, Writers & Directors Foundation, and the Board of Directors for the Entertainment Industries Council, Inc.
