Amy Emmerich has more than 15 years of experience developing content and programming for brands including MTV Networks, Travel Channel and Vice Media. An award-winning producer, she has a full spectrum of production and development experience on projects across linear television and digital video.

Emmerich currently serves as senior vice president of original programming for ulive, the premium lifestyle video portal and distribution network developed by Scripps Networks Interactive. She is responsible for the strategic planning, content direction, year-round programming slate and execution of programming strategies through the production and development process. Under Amy's leadership, ulive created over 70 new original video series in 2013 and pushed Scripps Networks into new lifestyle categories including parenting and wellness.

Preceding her current role, Emmerich served as vice president for production at Vice Media where she assisted in launching two successful YouTube channels while organizing its international creative efforts and overseeing its production teams across multiple verticals. Prior to that, she was the vice president of production and development for the Travel Channel where she oversaw all network programming, including Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations,Baggage Battles and Hotel Impossible. Emmerich’s career also includes producer roles at MTV Networks, HBO and Oxygen Media.

Emmerich has been recognized with numerous awards including three Emmy wins during her tenure at MTV for Outstanding Special Class Series MADE in 2007; Special Category Campaign, Translating Genocide in 2006; and Governors Award, Sudan Campaign,Translating Genocide in 2006; a Beacon Award for Sudan Campaign, Documentary Translating Genocide in 2006; and a Gracie Allen Award Winner for Outstanding Entertainment Program – Reality, Women & the Badge in 2003.  She was also nominated for an Emmy Award in the Original Entertainment Programming category formtvU Stand Inin 2006.   

Emmerich holds a bachelor’s degree from Iona College in Westchester, N.Y.
