As Vice President, Development for Esquire Network, Laura Civiello oversees development and production of the network’s original series. In her role, she works with producers, production companies, agencies and distributors to develop programming for all dayparts and genres including reality, formats, competition and docu-series. She also oversees the team responsible for shepherding programs through the development process, from idea conception through production to air. Since Esquire Network’s debut in September 2013, Civiello has overseen a number of the network’s hit series, including Friday Night Tykes, The Getaway, Knife Fight and Esquire’s 80th.
Civiello was instrumental in shaping the former G4 brand through the launch of such series as American Ninja Warrior and Ninja Warrior, Proving Ground, Jump and Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan, which was nominated for a 2012 International Documentary Association award. She joined G4 in 2004, when Comcast purchased TechTV, where she had been the Vice President of Acquisitions and Development.
Civiello graduated with honors from Cornell University with a B.A. in History.
