Jill Holmes, SVP of Production and Programming for VH1’s west coast, is responsible for creating and producing hit reality television shows.  During her 23 year career in the entertainment industry, Ms. Holmes has become a guru of pop-culture, learned how to build multiple franchises, and keeps her audiences coming back for more with hits such as, Basketball Wives, Couples Therapy and TI & Tiny: The Family Hustle.   In her current role, Ms. Holmes oversees production on water cooler hits such as Hit The Floor, Hollywood Exes, and the upcoming Leann & Eddie, Dating Naked and Candidly Nicole.

Jill joined VH1 in 1999 as Director, West Coast Production for VH1, working closely on the Behind The Music franchise and episodes of the reality television series Inside(out).  Prior to joining VH1 in 1999, Holmes was a Post-Production Supervisor/Coordinating Producer for Catalyst Entertainment in Los Angeles.  Before that, she was at WGBH in Boston and served as Coordinating Producer on IMAX films under the “NOVA” banner including the Academy Award nominated Special Effects:  Anything Can Happen and the CINE Golden Eagle Award-winning Stormchasers.  Holmes earned a bachelor’s degree in film from the University of California, Berkeley.

Her wisdom, skill, humor, and creativity are an inspiration for those who work with her as is evident in the more than two dozen successful shows she delivers each year with the help of her talented team at VH1.  Outside of work Jill enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and extensive modern family.
