Marisa Levy joined the TLC team in 2011. In her role, Marisa works with the production community to develop new program concepts and bring those ideas to life for the TLC audience. During her time at TLC, Marisa created Sex Sent Me To The ER, Alaskan Women Looking For Love and Craft Wars, and developed I Found the Gown and Extreme Cheapskates. Her upcoming projects include Road Trip, The One That Got Away and Psychic Matchmaker. Marisa began her career in television at Discovery Health Channel. Prior to joining TLC, she served as VP of Sales & Development for the international production company Story House Productions.  Before entering the world of television, Marisa produced and directed independent documentaries. She holds an undergraduate degree from Rice University, a MA degree from the Hogeschool  vor de Kunsten, Utrecht in The Netherlands and studied towards a doctorate at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
