Dave Mace

A&E

Dave Mace is currently Vice President of Non-Fiction and Alternative Programming at A&E where he is primarily focused on new development for the network and spearheading the A&E internal development program (The Incubator). In addition, he is overseeing production on current hit series such as Storage Wars LA, Flipping Vegas, Flipping Boston and newly greenlit series Big Smo and 60 Seconds to Sell.

In 2011 and 2012, Mace served as Senior Vice President and Executive Producer at VH1 Creative Lab, a new internal development group and innovative think tank responsible for generating over 120 new show ideas and concepts for the network, 32 of which were developed into sizzles, presentation, pilots and series including the recently announced Ryan Seacrest produced docu-series, Girls In The Game.

Prior to that, Mace was Senior Vice President and Head of Original Programming for the Logo network. An integral part of Logo’s launch, he had been with the network since March of 2005. Mace developed and executive produced Logo’s crossover, mega-hit competition reality show, RuPaul’s Drag Race its two spin off shows, RuPaul’s Drag U and RuPaul Untucked as well as The A-List New York.

Before Logo, Mace served as Senior Vice President and Head of Television Development and Production for Academy Award-winning Executive Producers (Chicago, Hairspray, The Bucket List), Craig Zadan and Neil Meron’s Storyline Entertainment for 5 years. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Made for Television Movie and co-executive produced The Reagans (starring Judy Davis and James Brolin) for Showtime.
