Christy Dees is Bravo's Vice President of Development, a position she has held since October 2013. In her role, Dees develops new original series for the network while continuing to focus on the innovative concepts, memorable characters and high quality programming that defines the Bravo brand. Based in Los Angeles, Dees reports to Rachel Smith, Senior Vice President of Development for Bravo Media.
Dees previously held the position of Director of Development for Bravo Media. Since being at the network, she has developed a number of hit series includingShahs of Sunset, Newlyweds: The First Year, Bethenny and Fredrik, Summer House, The Real Housewives of Potomac, Southern Charm Savannah, Stripped, and the upcoming Mexican Dynasties (wt). She also served as Executive Producer of the seriesThicker Than Water. Prior to joining Bravo, Dees was an executive at The Style Network where she oversaw a number of series includingKimora: Life in the Fab LaneandTia and Tamara. Dees credits Thom Beers with her big break when Beers hired her as Vice President of Development at Original Productions where she developed a number of projects includingMonster HouseandAmerica's Deadliest Season, the prequel toDeadliest Catch. Previously Dees was Director of Development at FX.
