Shauna Phelan is Head of Development and Production at AwesomenessTV, a leading multi-platform media company serving the global Gen Z audience. Phelan oversees scripted and non-scripted series for AwesomenessTV.

Phelan’s credits include SMOSH: The Movie, which debuted summer 2015 as the #1 comedy movie on iTunes; Expelled, the #1 Social Movie of 2014 that debuted at the top of the iTunes charts; Richie Rich and Project Mc2 on Netflix; as well as The Royals on E!; Blue Mountain State on Spike; and Supah Ninjas, Terry the Tomboy: The Movie, and AwesomenessTV sketch comedy series on Nickelodeon.

Phelan has launched and produced dozens of series and sketch comedy videos for AwesomenessTV’s YouTube channel, which include the long-form series Side Effects and Runaways. She also recently produced the hit digital series Guidance and Betch Sketch Show for Verizon’s go90.

Phelan began her career working for Furst Films, moving up the ranks from assistant to associate producer on films such as The Cooler, The Matador and Girl in the Park.
