A graduate of Loyola Law School, Deirdre Gurney founded Gurney Productions 7 years ago along with her business partner and husband Scott Gurney. Deirdre has created and is currently Executive Producing A&E's hit series Duck Dynasty. Gurney also has several hit series running in production for Spike, Syfy, Discovery, The Weather Channel From its infancy, Gurney Productions focused on maintaining a diverse slate, quickly establishing itself as a go to company for innovative formats and big characters. Gurney Productions continues to put out a diverse slate of content including filmic recreations, hilarious comedies, epic docs and intense scripted formats. To date the company has commissioned over 200 hours of television both domestically and abroad.
